STRUCTURED FX HEDGING SOLUTIONS FX WA’AD

• To enable our customers to hedge exposure of their upcoming FX cashflows and get absolute certainty in local/desired currency cashflow and budgets.
• ADIB’s FX Wa’ad: Allow our customers to buy/sell a currency against another at a predetermined fixed price(s) and upon an agreed purchase date(s).

• Catering to all our customer’s Liquidity management needs; ADIB enables its customers to earn market competitive returns on their deposits while keeping the excess liquidity with ADIB under different maturity dates.
• ADIB provides competitive expected profit rates (EPR) on Deposits under a Sharia Compliant Wakala arrangement , which is governed by the Master Wakala Agreement, where ADIB and the Customer enter into a Wakil-Muwakkil arrangement, the customer also has the option to early terminate the arrangement (transaction).

• Customer with a floating rate term facility can offset the Profit Rates movement risk and its impact on their financing cost by entering into a Profit Rate Swap (PRS).
• Ultimately, customers will be paying all in fixed rate on their financing/facility (i.e. net payment resulting from the financing and the hedging PRS).
• A PRS enables customers to have certainty in cashflows and financing cost, offering smoother corporate budget planning.
• PRS can be customized in several ways according to the customer’s needs and demands.
• PRS is completely independent from the term facility and could be early terminated or amended at any point of time regardless of the facility.
• Some PRS variations allow to project the exact financials for the life of the term facility.
