Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading financial institution, has been awarded the Excellence in Talent Management award for 2016 at the MENA HR Excellence Awards that was recently held in Dubai. The award recognizes ADIB for its talent development programmes and the Bank's efforts in building a pipeline of leaders capable of leading the Bank and the industry in the future.
ADIB has a wealth of learning and development training programmes that it offers to its employees. Those include 70 in-house and e-learning programmes, the Tamkeen programme to develop UAE National Women and Qiyadat – the UAE National Leadership programme. The Bank's renowned Banking Academy has trained more than 250 high potential employees over the last 12 months.

The award is given to organizations that demonstrate effective employee onboarding, ongoing training and development, coaching and mentoring, assessing and developing leadership capabilities, monitoring talent and measuring talent development.
ADIB is one of the industry leaders in Emiratisation initiatives. It has been recognized for its continued commitment to Emiratization by the Emirates Institute of Banking and Financial Studies (EIBFS) on several occasions. ADIB also partners with most universities and colleges in the UAE to offer young Emiratis training, internship and sponsorship programmes.
