Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB), a leading financial institution, has been named 'Best Islamic Digital Bank in the Middle East' for the third consecutive year by Global Finance magazine. This prestigious accolade comes alongside two further awards the bank received for 'Best Online Cash Management' and 'Best Integrated Corporate Banking Site'.
Over the last year, ADIB has focused on innovation, introducing several new technologies that enable customers to conduct their banking transactions in a flexible, convenient and secure way. This included the launch of ADIB Direct, a new digital banking platform for businesses that integrates a suite of banking solutions into a single, streamlined interface. The platform includes ADIB Office Banking, which provides a number of remote access solutions, such as cheque printing, cheque scanning, alongside other services, all of which allow ADIB customers to enjoy fast and secured 24/7 banking experience without leaving their office.

ADIB has seen rapid growth in the use of digital channels by its customers with over 2 million mobile transactions now initiated via the ADIB mobile banking app every month. In June 2019, the bank launched its pioneering Express Finance service, allowing qualifying customers to receive personal finance in as little as 30 minutes. The bank has a strong pipeline of digital solutions which it plans to launch over the coming months.
ADIB has received numerous awards for its digital and trade financing offerings in recent months including 'Best Islamic Financier' at the International Trade Finance Awards 2019 and 'Best Islamic Digital Bank' by Global Finance. The bank was also named 'World's Best Islamic Bank' by the FT's The Banker Magazine.
