• This offer is valid for all ADIB Covered Cards for spends from July 08, 2021 to September 04, 2021.
• The campaign is divided into 8 periods with the first period being of 10 days (July 08 to July 17, 2021) and each subsequent period thereafter being for 7 days.
• The customer gets one entry into the draw for every AED 250 retail spend in the relevant campaign period. Number of entries is calculated as the result of dividing the total qualifying spend in a period by 250.
• Spend on specific merchants (Supermarkets, Government Services (e.g. Fines, Taxes), Utilities, Education, Service/Petrol Stations, Real Estate Agents, Public Transport (e.g. Taxis, Metro, Buses), Road Tolls/Salik, Charities/Religious Organisations) is excluded from the qualifying spend.
• Transactions on the ADIB Covered Card in the form of reversals, refunds or disputed purchases during the promotion period will be deducted from the qualifying spends.
• Transactions at Exchange Houses or similar merchants are excluded from this campaign. All transactions at merchants classified as “Security Brokers/Dealers” (under Visa Merchant Category Code 6211) including but not limited to National Bonds Corporation transactions are excluded from this campaign.
• Cash withdrawals from ATM / Transfers from Covered Card to account are excluded from the qualifying spend.
• Supplementary Cardholder’s spends will be clubbed with the linked primary card to calculate spends eligible for the offer.
• 10 winners will be chosen in a draw for every period during the campaign.
• By August 31, 2021 for period 1 to period 3 (July 08 to July 31, 2021) – 30 winners in total.
• By September 30, 2021 period 4 to period 8 (August 01 to September 04, 2021) – 50 winners in total.
• *Each winner will be refunded the relevant period’s qualifying spend (capped at AED 2,000) in the form of a cashback. The cashback will be credited to the relevant card account by Oct 31, 2021.
• A customer can win only once in a period but can become eligible for the next period’s draw if the qualifying spend is met.
• At the end of every period, the number of entries for all Covered Card accounts is reset to zero.
• ADIB encourages you to use your Covered Card only for necessary expenditure.
• ADIB is not responsible for a transaction that does not get captured under the appropriate merchant category code nor accepts any responsibility for refusal of acceptance of the Card for any reason whatsoever.
• Delinquent or blocked Covered Card customers during the promotion period will not be eligible for this offer.
• Any disputes in regards with the promotion rewards should be raised within 2 months from the campaign end date.
• The cost of extra cashback amounts as well as campaign cost will be paid from ADIB Shareholders’ funds.
• By participating in this promotion, the customer agrees to be bound by all other ADIB Covered Card Terms and Conditions which prohibits using an ADIB Covered Card to purchase any non-Shari'a compliant products/services as determined by the Internal Shari’a Supervisory Committee of ADIB including but not limited to alcohol, pork products, gambling, tobacco, casinos, bars, nightclubs, merchants selling and/or providing pornography related products and/or services.
• ADIB staff are excluded from the offer.
